Me and Joe were talking about how depressing American indie comics were and so I decided I wanted to do a slight parody of all that stuff. What was born was "American Indie," a concept for a comic without a main character. I came up with a male lead character for the thing and then promptly noticed that I'd created Pranas, from Rocket Tonic (check the links). So after toying around with the character to distance him from Pranas, HE became a SHE. What a lovely girl she turned out to be too! I got her name by showing people the initial sketch of her and asking them what her name was.
After several ideas for names, the winner was "Lisa" and here she is!
Watch out for American Indie coming next quarter in Team JAM's yet-to-be-named mini comic!
